Stealth 11.8:
The cockpit roof and targa have been constructed as a separate item and then joined to the cabin roof while in place. Main sheet track, dinghy davits and roof support beam have been added, which completed the roof. It was then removed, turned upside down for the final fairing to be done.
The complete cabin and cockpit roof has been joined to the boat to complete stage 2 (structurally finished).

Songkran:
While Asia Catamarans crew and friends were enjoying the traditional Thai New Year festivities (Songkran) with a home-cooked roast pig,

Stealth 11.8:
During this month, the cabin roof has taken shape, the window rebates cut in and the 2 halves joined while in place.
At the same time the settee and the galley were built, pre-fitted, glassed, primed and finally permanently glued in place.
In the meantime, the back beam and transoms have been focused on. The engine stow-away compartments have been built as well as fuel tank storage lockers.
Stealth 12.6:
After building the 12.6 cabin roof in parallel with the 11.8 cabin roof, the 2 hulls were positioned and the fore beam permanently fitted. At the same time, accurate templates were taken for all the internal bulkheads.
Sidewinder:
In the middle of it all, Sidewinder was sold to a very happy new owner.
3rd firm order:
Almost at the same time, Asia Catamarans received the 3rd confirmed order, this time a Stealth 11.8.
Please open our new “Stealth Construction” under the new “Galleries” page to view pictures of the 11.8 and 12.6 building progress.
Jan/Feb 2012
After the end of the year festivities, the work at the yard resumed with great intensity and motivation.
Progress has been good. Both hulls for the 12.6 have been vacuumed, released and joined. At the same time all the bulkheads for the 11.8 were vacuumed bagged on the new table. They were then installed and shortly after the floor boards have been fitted.
In the meantime, the bridgedeck has been built; the chamfer panels and the stiffeners were added to it. The bridgedeck is now connecting both hulls and the 11.8 starts to look like a reel catamaran!
Crossbeam and compression tube have been fitted and the dolphin striker was mounted.
The foredeck is build and pre fitted. The daggerboards cases are built and mounted into place. The intermediate chain plates are added.
The jig for the cabin tops is set up and the roofs for both boats are now under construction.
